Care and Refurbishing
BOOT AND BELT CARE
In order to keep your boots in good shape for years to come, you should use a neutral-colored leather conditioner. This will work on all colors and most types of leathers (suede, nubuck, and roughtout excluded).
To protect from potential stains, use an aerosol stain protector.
For suede/nubuck/roughout leathers, use a suede brush or nubuck eraser.
In addition to these recommendations, keep cedar boot trees (make sure they are boot trees and not shoe trees) inside the boots when not in use to maintain their shape.
REFURBISHING SERVICE
These handcrafted boots all have full-grain leather soles and leather stacked heels, so these will gradually wear down over time. We can have them sent back to the factory, for a nominal fee, to have them refurbished with brand-new soles, heels, pegging, and conditioning.
BUCKLE AND JEWELRY CARE
These pieces need only a sterling silver polishing cloth to clean, as desired, the oxidization that invariably develops on the metal.
